Hours

Before using the Campus Recreation facilities, please make sure your Assumption of Risk Waiver is completed on CatPAWS.

  1. Login to CatPAWS
  2. Go to Personal Information
  3. Click on Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability for use of The Foster Fitness Center / Student Recreation Center
  4. Read and Initial

Check in at the front desk when arriving. Bring your Bearcat card or type in your 919# when entering the facility. A front desk attendant will take your picture and make sure your membership is renewed.

Foster Fitness Center Hours

WINTER 2024 (12/14/2024-1/12/2025)

Normal Hours:

  • Mon–Thurs: 11 a.m.–1 p.m. & 4–7 p.m.
  • Fri-Sat: 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
  • Sun: 4-7 p.m.

Changes in Hours:

  • 1/12: open 5-9pm

Spring 2025 (1/13/25 - 5/4/25)

Normal Hours:

  • Mon–Thurs: 6 a.m.–9 p.m.
  • Friday: 6 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Sunday: 5–9 p.m.

Changes in Hours:

  • 1/20: open 12-4pm, MLK Day
  • 3/8-3/16: TBD, spring break
  • 5/2: TBD, commencement
  • 5/3-5/4: Closed

Hughes Fieldhouse Hours

Spring & Fall

Community Walking Open Rec

Enter through south doors, Parking available in south lots, #62, Must present valid MCC card, Northwest Retiree Association (NRA) card or valid Bearcat card for current students, faculty or staff.

Normal Hours:

  • Mon–Thurs: 8 a.m.–1 p.m. & 7–9 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m.–1 p.m.
  • Sat–Sun: Closed

No walking on the following dates:

  • 8 a.m.-1 p.m.: 1/8, 1/17, 1/20, 1/29, 2/6, 2/7, 2/13, 2/14, 2/21, 2/26-2/28, 3/21, 4/1, 4/2, 5/14, 5/15
  • 7–9 p.m.: 1/2-1/12, 1/20, 2/6, 2/13, 2/21, 2/25, 2/27, 3/10-3/13

Enter through south doors, Reservations, Intramurals & Sport clubs

Normal Hours: 

  • Mon–Thurs: 7–9 p.m. 

No open rec on the following dates:

  • 1/20, 2/6, 2/13, 2/21, 2/25, 2/27, 3/10-3/13, 4/7

Other Events:

Facility reserved for:

  • Academics, Mon-Fri: 8 a.m.–2 p.m. enter through east doors. 
  • Athletics, Mon-Fri: 1–6:30 p.m. enter through south doors.

Student Recreation Center Hours


WINTER (12/14/24 - 1/12/25)

Normal Hours:

  • Mon–Fri: 11 a.m.–1 p.m. & 4–7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
  • Sunday: 4–7 p.m.

Changes in Hours:

  • Closed for winter break: 12/14-12/15, 12/21-1/1
  • 1/12: open 5-9pm

spring 2025 (1/13/25 - 5/4/25)

Normal Hours:

  • Mon–Thurs: 8:30 a.m.–9 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:30 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Sunday: 5–9 p.m.

Changes in Hours:

  • 1/20: open 12-4pm, MLK Day
  • 3/8-3/16: TBD, spring break
  • 5/2-5/3: open only for commencement line up and gown return
  • 5/4: Closed

Esports Hours

Normal Hours:

  • Mon–Fri: 1–5 p.m.
  • Sat–Sun: By appointment

Changes in Hours:

  • 12/21-1/1: Closed, Winter Break

MOERA Hours

Open for reservations: *Mid-March–October

Seasonal Shutdown: November–Mid-March

Must have at least 8 people in a group to make a reservation. Max #'s depend on what element your group is doing.
